Don’t Drink … Gamble!
If you like to have a cocktail occasionally, leave your money out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your handbag, your money belt, and keep all cash, plastic credit and cheques back at the hotel. Take only the cash you expect to use on alcohol, tipping and only the pocket change you intend to burn and leave the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Not by any means. Realistic more like. You might experience a success after a intoxicated night out with your comrades and be blessed enough to catch a 25 minute roll at a hot craps game. Keep that account because it’s as brief as it gets if you consistently drink and gamble. These activities just don’t go well together.
Keeping your moola at home is a little dramatic, but preventative measures for drastic behavior is required. If you play to win, then don’t drink alcohol and play. If you like to burn your cash without a concern, then drink all the gratuitous booze you can handle, but don’t pack credit cards and chequebooks to throw into the mix of going after squanderings after your inebriated head loses every little thing!
Allow me to carry this one step further. do not drink and then jump on the web to play in your preferred online casino either. I enjoy a beer from the comfort of my condo, but seeing that I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit at my fingertips, I can’t consume alcohol and bet.
How come? Even though I do not drink a lot, once I drink alcohol, it’s clearly enough to cloud my better judgment. I bet, so I do not drink alcohol when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, don’t wager when you do. When mixed, both create a ferocious, and expensive, drink.
