Being Taught From My Gambling Failures

1st to explain the reason I wrote this article. I have been wagering on the web or at land-based casinos for many years. I have learned, the dependency can grab a hold of you and you will not even realize it up until you are bankrupt. Especially if you’re on a winning streak. I have gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in only a short amount of time and still on occasion, I’ll go too far. It seems you are just having fun until you decide to be aware of your losses and the guilt sets in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can get it back" constantly. It does not works. Then you become sick in your stomach and the more you attempt the faster you are deprived.

When you notice that you’re up, STAY on the UP! When you start to be beaten, do not say to yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and over and over again, believe me, this concept RARELY ever works. Say you’re betting on slot games, have a bankroll set to the side prior to starting your play. Don’t go over that limit, regardless how appealing. If you happen to win, put that in a separate pot. Don’t use your profits no matter what. As soon as you’ve gambled through your original set limit, call it a day. Leave, whether it’s on the internet or at a brick and mortar betting house, don’t stay around. Always remember, there is going to be another day, a different time.

Remember, gambling is supposed to be FUN not backbreaking, sickening work! If you are not having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan’t afford the loss, do not even begin.
